Put simply, SignalFlow AI Long/Short provides a signal service, once daily at the close, stating its assessment of a selection of US Government Bond ETFs. The model chooses one pick from ICSH (ultrashort term bonds), SHY (2yr bonds), IEF (7-10 year bonds), or TLT (20+yr bonds).

The model produces a signal each day at the close:

• Risk Off = it believes the least risky holding in ICSH.
• Risk On = the model picks the ETF with the best relative strength - one of SHY, IEF, TLT.

The goal of the model outputs is to enable investors to optimize their bond ETFs portfolios, avoiding weak spots in one or another of these bond maturities.

The backtested returns in the last ten years, shown here, illustrate the benefits of this approach.
